Century Energy Ltd. ("Century" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the signing of a Farmout Agreement with Atikwa Resources Inc. ("Atikwa") covering two sections of land in the Roncott Field area of Saskatchewan ("Lands"). The Agreement requires Atikwa to drill and complete or cap and abandon a well ("Test Well") on the Lands to earn 50% of Century's interest in the section of the Lands where the Test Well is located, if the Test Well is a vertical well, or 50% of Century's interest in all of the Lands, if the Test Well is a horizontal well. If the Test Well is a vertical well, Atikwa will have the option to drill a well on the undrilled section of the Lands to earn 50% of Century's interest in that section. The Test Well is currently scheduled to spud on February 10, 2010.
